November 20th

The disguised turkeys are a big hit. We used the board outside my classroom to hang the turkeys from all 3 first grade classrooms. They have attracted a lot of attention. They are so cute; everyone wants to stop and look!!

We just finished up our fall math centers. Most of these centers had the children working with facts to 20.

Zain and Jacob are searching for pictures and writing equations that match the pictures.

Ava and Kaleb are spinning to make make equations.

Brynn and Luc are matching sums with equations.

Grace and Bryce are playing a number game with counting by 2's.

Kyle and Cylis are matching equations and sums in a puzzle activity.

Leighton and David are putting their fact knowledge to work on a board game.

Keeley and Jason are playing a game where they have to compare numbers.

Sydney and Daniel are searching for number facts to 20.

One center is always the computer center. Here Mara and Justin are using the Odyssey program.
